We are currently seeking dedicated, professional, and dependable Armed Security Guards who take pride in their work and understand the responsibility of representing our company’s culture and values.

Position: Armed Security Guard
Shifts Available: Thursday–Saturday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM; On-Demand Armed Guard
Start Date: Immediate (qualified applicants only)
Pay Rate:

• $20–$21/hour (holiday pay at time-and-a-half)
• $23–$25/hour for On-Demand Armed

Pay Frequency: Weekly (every Friday)

We seek individuals who are punctual, reliable, and carry themselves with professionalism at all times. As the first point of contact for our clients, you must demonstrate respect, strong communication, and the ability to maintain a secure and positive environment. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, confident, and able to make sound decisions under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and adhere strictly to assigned schedules
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance
• Represent JS Security Consulting with integrity and respect
• Follow and enforce all security protocols and company values
• Collaborate effectively with team members and site personnel
• Identify, address, and report security concerns proactively
• Adhere to all site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Assist with staff development and training when needed
• Patrol assigned areas by vehicle or on foot
• Monitor, observe, and professionally report suspicious activity
• Contact law enforcement when necessary (guards do not engage directly)
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports in a timely manner

Requirements

• Valid Tennessee Armed Security License
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong, reliable work history
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Familiarity with standard security procedures and equipment
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
• Experience in leadership roles (security, military, corrections, law enforcement)
• Experience in security training, SOP/post order development
