What Will I Do?

The Graphic Designer supports Frontier Bank’s mission by creating visual assets that reflect the bank’s bold Texas brand, community focus, and commitment to exceptional service. This role will collaborate closely with the Marketing Officer to produce compelling, on-brand materials across print, digital, and environmental formats for internal and external communications. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong design skills, a sharp eye for consistency, and a drive to bring a unique local identity to life across every customer touchpoint.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates Frontier Bank values: HONESTY, LOYALTY, DEPENDABILITY, LEADERSHIP, COMMUNITY, RESPECT.
  • Create original designs for marketing campaigns, signage, digital ads, social media, brochures, emails, internal communications, and branded merchandise.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all assets while evolving the bank’s visual identity in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Design and update templates for flyers, presentations, forms, and other day-to-day materials for bank staff use.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Officer to develop graphics and layouts for events, sponsorships, campaigns, and promotions.
  • Assist with in-house photography, photo editing, and light video editing for marketing use.
  • Support internal communications with branded resources and staff-facing materials.
  • Manage and maintain organized files of artwork, logos, and creative assets.
  • Work independently on multiple projects with quick turnarounds and changing priorities.
  • Occasionally attend events to capture content or support promotional efforts.
  • Maintain knowledge of design trends, tools, and marketing best practices to continuously improve design work.
  • Assist the Marketing Officer with social media content maintenance, including scheduling posts, ensuring brand consistency across platforms, and contributing creative ideas for engagement.
  • Provide support for a variety of marketing and communications tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented mindset beyond core graphic design responsibilities.

About You:

  • Able to demonstrate a strong sense of creativity, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of modern design principles.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Possesses strong communication and ability to collaborate flawlessly with multiple stakeholders, including but not limited to the Marketing Officer and other internal teams.
  • A deep commitment to representing the Frontier Bank brand with professionalism and consistency is required.
  • Highly organized and effective communicator.
  • Experienced in designing for social media, web, and print.
  • Highly skilled in motion graphics and photography.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in graphic design or a similar creative role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro, as well as Canva, is required.
  • The candidate should also have experience designing for social media, web, and print. Skills in motion graphics and photography are considered a plus.
