Job Description

Natural Retreatsis looking for a full-time  Maintenance Technician to join our 360 Blue and Callistateam in Santa Rosa Beach, FL! The Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, etc.). Weekends are required.

COMPENSATION: $21.00 per hour or more depending on experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Inspect homes to maintain functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repairs making notes and recommendations using company software systems.

• Perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.

• Perform minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.).

• Reconfigure, install, position, and remount various varieties of home furniture and electronics.

• Recommend parts and maintain required documents for the maintenance main office.

• Report any maintenance issues and/or accidents immediately.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

REQUIRED

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Working knowledge of audio/visual, electrical, plumbing, mechanics, and appliance repair
• Proficiency in technology, such as cell phones and basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license, 3+ years of driving experience and good driving record 
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing which may include drug testing and/or background screening
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. and be active up to 85% of the work day
• Basic organizational skills to effectively record and catalogue documents on work performed
• Ability to work alone and part of a team
• Proactive and flexible in approach to job duties and problem-solving
• Weekend availability

DESIRED

• HVAC Certification 
• Experience in the hospitality industry 
• Basic troubleshooting knowledge of internet routers
