Description Salary Range : $22 - $26/hour, plus Management Bonus Eligibility, based on qualifications Benefits: Weekly Pay, Paid Time Off available day 1, Discretionary Quarterly Bonus, Paid Holidays And More Hours Monday-Friday: Between 5:00am and 3:00pm, based on business needs Approximately 45-50 hours/week Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Scheduler-Dispatcher to forecast and deploy the project-focused labor, equipment, and other resources that make up our commercial furniture service and installation business. An ideal candidate has a background with experience in coordinating numerous variables over time. Consideration of both customer satisfaction and financial impact are essential, with flexibility and adaptability to accommodate unforeseen changes when necessary. Organization, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. Essential Functions Maintaining and updating scheduling module to ensure accuracy and compliance Demonstrates effective communication skills and listens effectively to resolve problems Provide coordination between internal and external customers by scheduling and dispatching appropriate crews to accomplish scheduled work tasks Ensure that the dispatched installation crews will have the appropriate skill sets that are required to assure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the customer’s expectations Employing problem-solving capabilities: effectively managing support options to ensure each project’s success Provide direction and leadership by utilizing lean methodologies, inspections, and standard work procedures to ensure the most cost-effective solution Promotes a team-oriented environment Supports company initiatives through active participation and adherence to company policies and procedures Appropriately responding to occasional after-hour calls Requirements Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical problem-solving skills with understanding of financial concepts Ability to work with members at all levels and in a team environment Must be able to develop and maintain effective relationships, internal and external, through excellent interpersonal skills Detail oriented and highly organized with focus on customer satisfaction Strong technology skills: ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite and learn proprietary work-order system Knowledge of major systems furniture lines preferred, but not required Qualifications ~3-5 years of experience in a dispatch-based role ~3-5 years of supervisory / management experience ~ Previous Commercial Furniture installation experience preferred ~ Continuous Improvement / Lean / Six Sigma experience preferred Why Choose Emerald Blue?
