Security Manager – Dallas Fort Worth

Reports to: Senior Regional Security Manager, Central N.A.

Role Overview

The Security Manager – Dallas Fort Worth is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of security operations at the warehouse facilities and corporate offices. This includes developing and implementing security policies and procedures, conducting investigations, managing the security budgets, identifying and mitigating security risks, training and managing security officers, managing and developing direct reports, and, insuring the safety and security of personnel, assets and inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policy, procedures and protocols for warehouse facilities, aligned with best practices and Richemont Group standards.

  • Ensure security measures are in place to prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and other security breaches.

  • Maintain the effectiveness of all electronic security systems (CCTV, Alarms, access, and metal detection) and redesign systems to meet the changing needs of each facility.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and threats to the warehouse facilities.

  • Stay informed on latest security trends, threats, and technologies.

  • Conduct through investigation of security incidents, including theft, fraud and other violations of company policy, preparing detailed investigation reports, with findings and recommendations.

  • Develop and manage budgets for the warehouse facilities, monitor security expenditures and ensure cost effectiveness. Identify opportunities to optimize security spending without compromising security effectiveness.

  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with the internal and Contract Security force to include Supervisor, and officers who are assigned to the locations and on-site management teams.

  • Serve as a liaison with law enforcement agencies and security vendors. Communicate security policies and procedures to personnel and provide security awareness training to employees throughout the year.

  • Supervise and train security officers ensuring effective performance and adherence to protocols.

  • Manage security supervisor providing ongoing training, development, and performance feedback to enhance their leadership and technical skills.

Qualifications

  • College preferred, but not mandatory. High school minimum.

  • At least three years of security management and private law enforcement. Military service is a plus.

  • Direct experience with distribution/fulfillment center security.

  • Excellent communication skills required. The ability to follow assignments and instructions closely when part of a team as well as being able to work independently without supervision. Dedication to detail in observation of facts and report writing.

  • Understanding logistics workflow and process.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong understanding of electronic security systems.
